The Village
Camp Ground is within walking distance from the
Hill End Village so is a convenient location to
camp. It offers powered and unpowered sites by a creek that was the site of gold mining in the gold rush days.Run by the NSW National Park service. Bookings have gone to being on-line. Powered sites are a bit tight but fine for a short stay. There are fire
places and picnic tables scattered among the sites.The amenities block is relatively new and
well maintained. It is cleaned regularly.
Toilets are of the flushing variety. Hot showers are available and included in the site cost (roughly $35 per night for a family) . A
dump point is located near
the entrance to the male amenities.
