Heavily forested
hill upon which is sited the No. 1 Border Cairn originally built by the survey team which delineated the NSW/Vic border in the 1870's. The 2003 bushfire swept through this area but 10 years later the regrowth is quite thick. Walkers will need to follow
brumby tracks and have a GPS in order to locate the nearby source of the Murray and the cairn.
