A very pretty east-west drive between
Long Plain Rd and Pocket Saddle Rd in the High Plains area of Kosciusko National Park. The track crosses the upper reaches of the
Tantangara reservoir to provide access from the west to the historic
Currango Homestead. The crossing is subject to water levels in the reservoir, and is covered at 1216 m or 25%.
Check website for info on the water levels. When the Snowy 2.0 project comes online in 2029 the crossing is likely to be permanently inundated.The area is closed during winter months, between the June and October long weekends.
