Information

Site of town flooded by Lake Eucumbene in late 1950's. The Snowy Mtns Authority constructed a dam on the Eucumbene River and as the waters rose, buildings in the town of Adaminaby were removed or demolished by 1957. Today, arguably Australia's longest boatramp caters for trout fishermen who can stay at the caravan park. At low water levels of less than 30% many ruins are exposed.
