Lake Jasper Campground is non-bookable. There are three campsites with basic facilities.
Toilets are available. No dogs (or other pets) allowed at this
campground.
Camping fees apply. Non-bookable campgrounds operate on a first come, first served basis. Be aware that this
campground may get busy, especially during weekends and holidays. Identify alternative accommodation in case there are no campsites available when you arrive.
Standard park entry fees apply for D'Entrecasteaux National Park. Power boats and water skiing are not permitted on
Lake Jasper.
Lake Jasper is approximately 2 hours from
Augusta. Access to
Lake Jasper is four-wheel drive only. Please reduce your tyre pressure to suit the conditions when driving on sand. The track to
Lake Jasper is rough in
places so be prepared for some difficult sections. This track location is on the eastern edge of
Lake Jasper.
The still, clear water of
Lake Jasper is the perfect place to go for a paddle. You can launch a canoe or kayak near the
picnic shelter and head out to enjoy the scenery. The lake is
home to freshwater cobbler, providing anglers with the chance to catch some dinner.
