Camping Area (also known as Snottygobble Loop) features 11 designated campsites and a group site in peppermint forest within The Hawke National Park. Suitable for tents, small campervans and camper trailers. Caravans and larger campervans are not permitted.
Snottygobble Loop is approximately 30 minutes from Pemberton. It is located on an unsealed road which is suitable for 2WD.
Facilities include wood barbecues, picnic tables, shared
camp kitchen,
toilets. No tap water. Campfires are usually permitted, in the provided fire rings only, between April 15 and November 30 but fire restrictions may be imposed at any time and without notice. BYO fuel barbeques, stoves and heaters can be used at any time, unless a total fire ban has been declared.
Bookings cannot be made. National Park
camp fees apply.
As will bush campgrounds in the region, this is a very popular site during school holidays and weekends from October to April, particularly public holiday weekends.
