Nestled within the majestic Karri Forest of the
Beedelup National Park is a pleasant 10 metre waterfall called Beedelup Falls.
Beedelup is derived from the Nyoongar word Beedja meaning place of rest or place of sleep.
The falls are best viewed in winter and spring when they are in full flow with winter rains. Access to Beedelup Falls is via a 300 metre walk trail from the car park. The trail takes you across a 25 metre
suspension bridge that spans Beedelup Brook. There is also wheelchair access to a viewing platform overlooking the falls. There are mosses and ferns, frog calls, birds, and the roar of the falls.
The 4.5 km moderately hard Beedelup Loop Walk meanders through karri forest via Karri Valley Resort and the Walk-Through-Tree. This walk can be broken up into shorter sections.
To get to Beedelup Falls, drive 17 kilometres west of Pemberton along the Vasse Highway, then follow the signs.
