Baffle Creek is one of Queensland’s few remaining undisturbed coastal rivers, and the creek’s estuary mouth is protected by Mouth of Baffle Creek Conservation Park.
No camping in the section south of the creek, however camping is permitted in the section near Rules Beach on the northern side of the creek, accessible by 4WD only.
