I have been coming here since I have been little and I have to say, coming here is something you have to do in Victoria. The locals are so friendly, there is so much to do. In winter it usually snows and you can see people tobogganing or warming up to the fire in the new
Commercial Hotel, which has recently been renovated. In summer a popular thing to do is pump up a tube and sail down the
Goulburn River, or the less adventurous set up a
camp chair in a shallow part of the river and have a drink in the river. Lyrebirds are always found up in the mountains, and in spring the cottage gardens go into bloom. My personal fav season to visit is in Autumn, where all of the trees start to go bare and all of the crunchy leaves are on the ground and you walk the dog in the mountains and kick them around. Please do come to Woods Point, it is a absolutely perfect place to come for kids and adults and everyone. Every now and then you see a group of horse riders and it feels so peaceful so watch them. Kids love it here, and they are always running around. I should know. I'm 12 years old!! VISIT WOODS POINT! (please!)
