This
camp is located about half way into
the entrance to
the gorge. The area is a flat
clearing in a grove of desert oaks. This
camp is best for tents, larger vehicles and groups.It is just an easy 300m walk to
the entrance of
the gorge where you will find the
rockhole.Beyond this point the track becomes rocky, crosses a rocky creekbed and then there is a small rocky turning circle with a second
campsite right at
the entrance to
the gorge.
This final
camp is only suitable for a single vehicle with small, high clearance offroad camper trailer or rooftop tent. Ground is hard and rocky and not suitable for tents, swags or groups.No facilities, no service. Permit required for access via the Sandy Blight
