This is the site of the actual
rock hole that that Len Beadell documented when examining the area in which to take the
Sandy Blight Junction Road. Here Len found a small
rock basin containing crystal-clear water, which is known to the local people by both the name Bungabiddy or Pangkupirri
Rock Hole. Len Beadell ensured that his new road passed close by the
water hole for the benefit of future travellers. To reach the
waterhole walk from the end of the access track/
camp area about 300m. At the
waterhole there are some very old Aboriginal
rock paintings, so please do not touch.
