The easy Hermitage Foreshore walk is one of
Sydney's great coastal walks. Start at Nielsen Park and take in the
views of Shark Island, the
Sydney Harbour Bridge and the grounds of Strickland House along the way. The track is managed by Parks NSW but
parking and access is free. 1.8km one way (3.6km return). Grade 3 - some steep steps and uneven ground. Track offers beautiful harbour
views and access to secluded swimming and fishing spots.
