This smaller
campsite along the banks of
Lake King William within the
Franklin-
Gordon Wild Rivers National Parks is better suited to vehicles with roof top tents, ground tents or smaller camper trailers, rather than caravans.A Parks Pass is required to
camp here but there are no daily camping fees.The access track is more prone to weather damage than the alternative
camp further north and therefore this site is better suited to 4WD vehicles due to unexpected potholes. Being less used, the vegetation is more dense along the narrow entrance track but opens up once at the lakeside. Would make a quiet spot to get away as less popular for these reasons.No
toilets, no facilities. Please obey all signage and local conditions.
