If the mountain tops are free of cloud then Point
Lookout is a place that you must visit, particularly if you are keen on mountain scenery. The view reaches to the ocean.
The summit is near to 1,500 metres with a good road to the top and plenty of space to park and picnic. There are two platform lookouts connected by an easy path. There are longer walks as
well for those with more time and/or energy.
