Welcome to Lake Kurwongbah's Forgedale Farmstay, aka www.farmstaybrisbane.com.
Only a few sites. Open bushland paddock space and privacy. Close to rail and everything you need, in the
Brisbane northern region. This is not a caravan park. It is a paddock based farmstay. 3 night min. stay. Arrivals only Mon-Fri 10am - 4pm. 7th night each week is free. Starting at $25/night, with optional free and paid activities. You can also store vehicles here from $100 per week, with every 7th week free. Longer stays considered. Pets considered on good behaviour bonds. Antiqued furnished 2 bedroom apartment is available $600 / 3 days - 4 days min.
5 mins drive off Bruce Highway. 15min walk to train. This is a great base for repairs, social, business, shopping, health and tourist activities.
Prices from $25/night. Arrivals only accepted 10am to 4pm Mon-Fri. Some exceptions at our discretion with lots of notice. Office open 8am - 4.30pm Mon - Fri. If it is after hours txt message only, please.
Roadbase to paddock entry. Firm ground ridge has 4 levelled sites, including 2 drive through ones. 3 with power and 4 with filtered rainwater (starting at $35/night incl 2 people and access to
toilet, external hot shower, power and water). There are also gentle slope sites. Other non-powered sites, $45/night min, with rainwater available are by our rustic hut near our
farm dam. Other sites off the
grid $25/night min. are close to our Lake Kurwongbah boundary.
Fast guest registration using photos of vehicles including registration plates, and ID, plus an indemnity to sign stating you agree to be self-responsible. If you prefer to do a written registration that is fine too.
45 mins north of
Brisbane CBD, near North Lakes, Narangba, Petrie, Kallangur, Burpengary. 15mins walk from train station. Best suited for singles or couples, though kids and larger groups are welcome. Pets and tents and those sleeping inside cars are considered at pre-booking stage.
17 acres backing onto flora and fauna sanctuary Lake Kurwongbah. If you like space, privacy and self catering, this is the Farmstay for you. Maintained, open bushland on gentle slope with mowed tracks to
camp or van sites in the spacious paddock.

gate. You may leave any hour of any day. The rustic hut track is ok for 2WD in fine and light weather. The Lake Kurwongbah site is 4WD only.
Toilet and shower are 300m from the rustic hut and 600m from the Lake Kurwongbah
camp site.
