The
Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk is a nature-based tourism attraction, located in the
Walpole-Nornalup National Park in the heart of the Walpole Wilderness. The Tree Top Walk is an easy 18 km drive from Walpole or 52km from
Denmark.
The Tree Top Walk features a suspended walkway 40 metres above the ground to experience the tingle forest canopy. The 600-metre walk is fully accessible and it is suitable for children of all ages, wheelchairs and strollers.
Below the Tree Top walk visitors can enjoy a stroll on the forest floor (Ancient Empire), where an interpretative trail meanders in between 400 year old red tingle trees.
Much of the plant life in this forest is unique to the south-west of Western Australia. Trees such as the tingle only occur in this small area and as such provide a window to the past. Some of the plants have origins that can be traced back 65 million years.
Located on the Valley of the Giants Road off the South Coast Highway, Nornalup, between
Denmark and Walpole.
