Having just looked at the Road Reports here on site we cannot access Queensland from
Alice Springs by all accounts. Was going to go north along the Sandover as it is one road I haven't been on but the roads east of there are all closed as reported at 25th June. Not much use driving 800km only to find you have to trun back or wait a week or so. The roads may be open on Monday but I am not going to take that chance
So now we will be going down the Numery Track to the
Rig Road and then to
Warburton Crossing and up the BT to
Birdsville and beyond. Might even bump in to Crazie and Eric out there.
Catch ya all again by mid July....Happy working...hahahahaha

Safe travelling - you have certainly taken some of our rain all over Australia!

Hi Motherhen. I have forgotton about all that rain. Probably did not notice it as much as we were not tenting it.
Take care

Thanks Richard
My route takes me 1071km without a fuel bowser but it is an easy run and we should get 7km litre and have a 1200 to 1400km range.

Isn't that a bit too close for comfort? Worse case scenario is only 100km overlap.
