Fitzroy River Reserve - VIC

Right near the mouth of the Fitzroy River, this is a large, level and grassy campground ideal for anglers. You'll find it on Thompson’s Road (via Princess Highway) at Tyrendarra East. An ideal spot for fishing, with camp sites set on the banks of the river surrounded by coastal scrub. Suitable for all types of camping including large motor homes and caravans. Fees apply over the peak period in summer ( $10 per site as of 02/25). Collected daily on site. Otherwise free at other times of the year. Short walk to beach.
