This Tree (and
plaque) is on the original
Gary Junction Road. You will need to take a short diversion of 450m from the main track to reach the tree. There is another tree on the roadside that has been blazed and painted white with a marker on it (erected 2004 to help you locate the side track.

Well. The significance of his marker was that this is as close as Len got in 1960 on his attempt to get to the site of the Jupiter
Well that he was aiming for when pushing the
Gary Junction Road 100 km west of the
Pollock Hills due to a catastrophic gearbox failure in his
grader. Len did not return to the site until 1962.-
