Access to the Eliot Falls camping and
day use area is via the Overland Telegraph Track (OTT) - and involves crossing Scrubby Ck.
Eliot Falls is a great place to visit but is also hazardous. Eliot falls is upstream from
Twin Falls and has a taller drop than the others. Water
cascades over parallel ledges of
rock with the Eliot Creek running below. Water levels can rise rapidly and care must be taken in and near the water because of slippery rocks and submerged objects. The
day use area offers picnic tables, an interpretation
shelter and
toilets. Heed all warning signs. Serious injuries and deaths have occurred here. Several formed
walking tracks depart from
Eliot Falls camping area, allowing you to explore the area around Eliot and Canal creeks.
