Rockhole is an emphemeral
waterhole found in the shallow gullies that drain the Katu Katu Hills of which
Mount Madley is the most
well known feature. The hills sit in the divide between the Gibson and Little Sandy Deserts. The
rockhole itself is hard to find as there are no longer traditional owners dependant upon its water and therefore keeping it clear of soil and rocks. It is now filled in but the tell tale signs of damp earth remain to remind us of its location.
