Lane Poole Reserve covers some 55,000ha of jarrah forest just 100km from
Perth near Dwellingup. The
Murray River flows through the reserve and offers numerous recreational activities from swimming and canoeing to white-water rafting.
Nanga Mill is the largest
campground in the area and offers a variety of camping sites. Wood barbecues,
toilets, bin and picnic tables are provided and water is also available.
The
Nanga Brook, which flows through the
campground, is ideal for swimming. It is especially good for children - with the appropriate adult supervision.
Best time to visit: All year round.
This site is suitable for large groups or caravans and there is plenty of
parking space available.
