Windorah Caravan Park - QLD

This Caravan Park is operated by the Barcoo Shire Council for the benefit of travellers, particularly those heading to or from Birdsville. Just drive in and select a place. A council officer will call around to collect fees, which are payable in cash. The current cost is $10 per van/tent.

Toilets and showers (small fee) are basic but were clean and serviceable (September 2013). Some shade but you need to be early during busy times. There is a large overflow area adjacent so it has to be very crowded for there to be no space.
