Lake Dunn is a freshwater lake in the locality of Upland in
Barcaldine Region, Queensland, Australia. Also known as Pajingo Bola, meaning "Big Fella
Waterhole," the lake is the only wetland area in Central West Queensland and is consequently
home to a large waterfowl
population. The lake also has a lovely
campsite "Lake Dunn Campground" run the station.Lake Dunn is a birdwatchers paradise and is
home to over 80 different species of birds. It is also an excellent
fishing spot for Golden Perch (yellowbelly) and
Black Bream.Lake Dunn is perfect for swimming, water-skiing, windsurfing and sailing and is an ideal camping and picnic spot.Follow the Lake Dunn Sculpture Trail along unsealed roads from
Aramac to Lake Dunn as an alternative to the direct sealed route. Head east from
Aramac on the
Jericho-
Aramac Rd (77km) then turn north up Ballyneety Rd (65km) to arrive at Lake Dunn. You can complete the Sculpture Trail Loop Drive by taking the sealed Eastmere Rd (67km) back to
