Over 140 kilometres of walking tracks of all grades (some accessible for people with a disability) in diverse settings make the Blue Mountains a bushwalker's paradise. See the Three Sisters from the Giant Stairway at Echo Point, or explore the historic Mt Werong and Ruby Creek area (south of Oberon). The National Parks Heritage Centre at Blackheath and visitor centres at Echo Point and Glenbrook provide information on local walking tracks. The Fairfax Heritage Track at Blackheath is a wheelchair-accessible track to Govetts Leap Lookout, and the Conservation Hut and Wentworth Falls picnic area also have great views that are wheelchair-accessible. A Discovery program of walks and activities operates every weekend and during school holidays.
