Dunsborough faces north to the Indian Ocean and is on the shores of
Geographe Bay where the ocean is very calm and sheltered and at low tide, walking out on the sandbanks is possible.
It is a much smaller township than
Busselton and has been changing over the last decade with a focus on a
young, vibrant culture with trendy cafes and shops to cater for the hipster clique but it is also popular for its high class accommodation, cafes, and access to many beautiful beaches and bush areas as
well as proximity to the Margaret River winery region.
Only a few minutes drive to Cape Naturalise
Lighthouse, Melup Beach,
Ngilgi Cave as
well as
Yallingup, Eagle Bay,
Canal Rocks,
Smiths Beach. There is plenty to do and enjoy in this part of the south-west.
