There are two lookouts here - one to view
the Natural Bridge and another called "Castle Cove" which provides a view of the southern face of
Island Rock. Short walking tracks lead from the
carpark to each
vantage point, as
well as a
toilet block, and a very impressive
picnic shelter overlooking the ocean. A modern plastic wood-look boardwalk leads from the
picnic shelter northwards along the
cliff top leading all the way to
Eagle Gorge (8km one way) - this is the Bigurda Trail.
This is the most southern of the free geological landforms that can be seen in the coastal cliffs section of the
Kalbarri National Park. Easy access from the main road with
parking bays and
toilets.
