A natural rockform eroded by the elements to look somewhat like a mushroom sits atop another
rock right on the waterfront. A short walk down from the
Mushroom Rock Carpark & Trailhead brings you to this point.
The walk trail links Mushroom
Rock with the
Rainbow Valley carpark through the valley and along clifftops above the ocean. The walk can be completed as a complete loop or out and back along either the coastal path or through the more sheltered valley.
Keep to the trail and beware of loose or wet rocks and very steep sections. Be especially careful in strong winds on exposed rocky sections.
Interesting
rock colours and erosion. One of the nicest walks along the coastal area.
