Parnngurr Community - WA

Parnngurr (also called Cotton Creek) is a mid size Aboriginal community located just off the Talawana track, some 60km by road from the Canning Stock Route. The shop is open 9-12am, 2-4pm weekdays, 9-12am Saturday and sells fuel, food, cold drinks and a good selection of fresh fruit and veg. Fuel and food can also be arranged after hours by calling the office ((08) 91769009). Clean secure accommodation is available in donga style rooms with ensuite and outdoor cooking or fully furnished house for families and groups. Laundry and shower facilities are also available.Parnngurr lies close to the turnoff for the Rudall River road which leads through the spectacular Karlamilyi National Park (was Rudall River) to Desert Queens Baths, Hanging Rock and Telfar mine.
