El Questro is a million acre property and is predominantly a working cattle station however in 1991 it was developed to provide unique tourism opportunities.
The station offers a range of accommodation options from the exclusive retreat at
El Questro Homestead, Tented Cabins at
Emma Gorge Resort, Family Bungalows at Station Township and 28 secluded campsites suited to 4WD campers along a 6km stretch of the
Pentecost River. You can also
camp close to the township.
Visit Chamberlain, Explosion, Moonshine and El Questro gorges but
check that the latter two are still safe to swim in. i.e. no crocodiles. See sunset from Saddleback Ridge or the
lookout at Branco's Hole where you may see Eric the big salty.
Well worth spending 3 days and nights.
