Cathkin, located just across the
Goulburn River from
Molesworth, was the former
junction station which linked the
Mansfield Line with the
Alexandra Line, and is the
home of the Railway Poet, James Dunn.
The Cathkin platform still remains and the local Landcare Group has created a charming reserve providing a peaceful rest spot for rail trail users.
