campground."Surrounded by tall Blue Gums, this large
campground is a great spot for the whole family to escape. It’s close to the city, yet so peaceful it feels like a million
miles away.Set up
camp on the large grassy area and head off to explore the surrounding bush by foot. Go mountain bike riding on the
Mount Yengo loop trail or explore the 4WD trails through rugged valleys.Or, if you just want to take it easy, simply sit back, relax and enjoy this remote setting. You might even be lucky enough to get a visit from the local wombats and wallabies in the area while you’re taking in the scenery.At night, get cosy, swap stories and toast marshmallows by the campfire."Affected by closures.
Note - The Big Yango precinct in
Yengo National Park including Blue Gums
campground, the Yango Loop trail and Yango walking track are closed from Thursday 2 June 2022 to Friday 29th March 2024 for repair and maintenance work.Facillities

campground accommodates up to 36 campers and is suitable for groups.
Campsites are unmarked and suitable for off-road caravans, camper trailers, 4WD campervans and tents.
Water is not available at this
campground.
Firewood is not provided and may not be collected from the park.
Rubbish
bins are not available. Please take your rubbish with you. Please don't burn any rubbish in the fire rings.
There is no power available in the
campground.
Camping is also available at Mountain Arm
campground or you may prefer to stay at Big Yango House.
