Artimore was once a thriving sheep station high in the mountainous area above
Blinman in SA. It now remains as a few
ruins. There are plenty of camping spots around the
ruins and surrounding area which is largely local native pine. There is a challenging local Public Access route which accesses this area or you can pay to do the 4wd circuit through locked gates from the Angorichina Station. The PAR will take you on from here, through Hannigan's Gap via the creekbed, through to
Moolooloo Station and the
Glass Gorge road. A very picturesque couple of days can be spent in the area. There is also acess to
Patawarta Hill via Patawarta Gap. This is only a dry weather area and there are several gates to open and close. One must always remember to do the right thing when travelling through private leasehold land.
