Murgon… so named from an aboriginal word meaning ‘
lily pond’… is located on the Bunya Highway approximately 245 kilometres north-west of
Brisbane…just over 2.5 hours from city or sea. Murgon District has a
population of approx. 3500 people. It is a town with great facilities and amenities.
