A popular, large day-use area on Fraser Island with fenced
camping area (to keep dingos out).
Some walks start from here and there is a nice boardwalk that follows the gentle flow of the crystal clear Wanggoolba Creek fringed with rainforest. Magnificent elkhorn ferns are a treat.
Adjacent to the
campsite is an area once used as the base for logging operations on Fraser Island. Displays of 100 year old loggers lifestyles and equipment.
Has
toilets and coin operated shower facilities.
