Information

Behind the facade of the small country town of Injune, beats the heart of a very vibrant community.
Injune is the most northern town in the Maranoa district and sits at the foothills of the Carnarvon Ranges on the western spur of the Great Dividing Range.

Today cattle and timber production are the main industries. When the road north to Rolleston was finally sealed, Injune became the Gateway to the famous Carnarvon Gorge in the Carnarvon Ranges. You are welcome to stay, experience the character of Injune and visit the National Parks in the area. Discover the diverse species of flora and fauna in the district.
