Cross bridges and ramble along raised boardwalks, exploring the natural wonders of this serene subtropical rainforest.
1.4km return by same path. Allow 50 minutes walk time. Grade 3 walk.
Beautiful subtropical rainforest among gigantic strangler figs, piccabeen palms, climbing ferns and vines. Spy delicate orchids and other epiphytes clinging to the branches.
Take binoculars to make the most of wildlife watching.
The Mill
rainforest walk is in the North D'Aguilar section of D'Aguilar National Park, about 72km from the city of
Brisbane.
The track begins from the Mill
rainforest walk car park.
A 4WD or trail bike is recommended to access the Mill
rainforest walk car park. The maximum speed limit on forest roads is 40km/hr and all road rules apply.

From the south:
Drive 24km from Dayboro, via Mount Mee Road (tourist route number 29) and Sellin Road to the park's entrance.
Drive past The Gantry then turn right onto Mount Mee forest drive. Travel 2km then turn right and drive 1km to the Mill
rainforest walk car park.
From the north:
Drive about 17km from
Woodford, via the D'Aguilar Highway, Neurum, Stanton and Rassmussen roads to the park's northern entrance.
Travel south along the Mount Mee forest drive, then turn left and drive 1km to the Mill
rainforest walk car park.
There are no wheelchair-accessible facilities on this walk.
