The Pines - WA

Signed PBay called The Pines which is a designated camp on the Great Central Road. The trees here are not Pines however but Black Oak (Casuarina). The signboard at the entrance gives more info on flora and fauna in the area with birdsong being a lovely aspect to the camp and wildflowers after rains. There is a wide graded central road leading far back from the rest area at the front and you can take side tracks to sheltered camps. The site is so large you can be guaranteed to get privacy and suitable for 2wds and vans when dry. If wet, avoid going back from the hard surface at the front as the soil here is sticky when wet.
