This is the 2nd bush
camp site located on this stretch of Barwon River in
Walgett near the Castlereagh Highway. The other is just a few hundred metres south.
No facilities. Although these sites are very close to the highway and there will be road noise at night, this is riverside
bush camping so suitable if town is full or you need a quick overnight stop.
Just be aware that the Barwon River can be vastly different over time. This region is prone to both flooding and drought. When dry the area is accessible for caravans but conditions during flood times are vastly different.
