Information

A 2.9km grade 3 circuit hike takes about 1 hr to complete. The Nut is a 143m high massif, rising from Bass Strait that towers above the picturesque town of Stanley. The delightful walk continues around the top of the expansive plateau through open heath and patches of woodland. From the top there are wonderfully varied views along the coast and back to the rich farmland and forests of the North-West.
