Dalmeny is just 7km north of
Narooma but is a popular town in its own right. Built upon headlands looking over oceans and lagoons, this idyllic coastal location offers
views of the Pacific Ocean to the south, and the shore of Lake Mumumga to the north and that's what's made it a popular
camping area. With two retirement and aged-care facilities, a bowling club, boat ramps, fishing, food and fuel supplies, picnic spots, lookouts, and good camping rates in the caravan park for pensioners, and not far from larger towns like Eden, or
Batemans Bay, its no wonder this place is popular with the
grey nomads, although the good surf beaches also satisfy the grommets and serious surfers.
There are many walking and cycling paths through Dalmeny, and bushwalking opportunities in some areas of the Eurobodalla National Park.
