Strictly 4WD with low range access only due to steep, potentially slippery and narrow entrance conditions on a dirt track although you can bring in your camper trailer provided it is also an offroad trailer. Entrance track is sometimes closed after rain due to dangerous conditions on the steep descent.
Campground is located in a hidden valley on a tributary of Jacky Barker Creek and is within the
Nowendoc National Park so bookings are required but there is no fee. There are big trees,
rock pools, birds, and a much wildlife. Bbqs, picnic tables and the nearby historic Wrights Hut. A 18.km look walk passes the
ruins of the old Watts
Homestead. Popular for MTB bikes.
