This marks the site of the Logue Brook
Dam wall which was constructed on
Lake Brockman in 1963 to provide water for irrigation. It is now a popular place for camping and water activities such as water skiing, swimming, fishing, canoeing, windsurfing and sailing. You can also go bushwalking, and mountain biking.
The summer months and
Easter are the park’s busiest time of year.
This is a popular camping and boating destination for families and 4wd enthusiasts. Please see separate listings for the powered caravan park (
Lake Brockman Tourist Park) and a DPAW operated
campground (
Logue Brook Campground).
You will also find a small deli with the essentials and
toilet facilities on both sides of the lake.
Camping around the waters edge of the lake is not generally permitted but if you’re not making a fuss and keep the site free of rubbish the rangers have always been reasonable and friendly.
Be warned, Public Holidays can get very busy especially Australia Day so it is definately recommended to arrive a day or two early of peak periods.
