Free 48 hour RV sites are for fully self-contained vehicles that have been fitted with the proper containment of waste and waste water to avoid the impact on the environment and public health. CMCA considers a self-contained recreational vehicle as a vehicle specifically built for the purpose that along with built in sink, on-board cooking and sleeping facilities, carries a supply of fresh water and can retain all
grey and black waste water.
Non-compliant vehicles including camper trailers, tents or camping in your motor vehicle are strictly not permitted to
camp in these areas and to avoid penalties, you should seek to stay at our low cost campgrounds: Starvation Bay, Mason Bay or
Hamersley Inlet which are set in beautiful locations.
