North Beach is from the mouth of the Bellinger/
Kalang River to Bundagen Rocks.
North Beach Surf Lifesaving club is located at the southern end of
Mylestom. Patrol beach during holidays and in swimming season of weekend.
Beach access is south of the Surf Club with good graded track to beach then south to river mouth. Their is no vehicle access to beach allowed from just south of Surf Club to Northern track which is just north of
North Beach Caravan Park.
Northern track access to as far as Tuckers
Rock, but permit required from Tuckers
Rock to Bundagen Rocks (National Park Bongil Bongil).
Good fishing on beach with large jewfish being one of the highlights. Sandworms and Pippis at the right tide time are catchable.
Village
Mylestom is usually called
North Beach by locals with the Surf Club and
Recreation and Bowling Club both utilising this name.
