Mount Maroon in South East Queensland is part of the Mt Barney National Park.
The summit is about a 2 hour hike from the end of Cotswold Rd off the
Boonah-
Rathdowney Road.
The Summit is 967 Metres.
From the higher South peak you get a 360 Degree view of the entire border ranges scenic rim, from Lammington Park Mountains in the South East, Mt Lindsay and Mt Barney to the South, Mt Superbus in the South West,
Cunninghams Gap to the West and the
Toowoomba Ranges to the North West.
Looking North and North East you see the Lockyer and
Brisbane Valleys, and Mount Tamborine to the East.
