Jupiter
Well is a large, open area with an excellent
camp nestled amongst the she-oaks along the
Gary Junction Road. There is fresh drinkable water available via a hand pumped
bore at
the entrance to the
campsite area. This is the most popular
campsite along the
Gary Junction Road and you will see why when you see it for yourself.
Note that the
hand pump you see here is not the site of the
original Jupiter Well however you can easily find it by crossing over to the southern side of the
Gary Junction Rd and following a
well used track (use the Traveller app on your phone and walk to the marker shown as
Original Jupiter Well).
