camping area behind the foredunes. No formally defined sites. Most sites are protected by shady She Oaks, Cypress Pine and other coastal shrubs. 4WD access only - soft sand and ruts. This is the closest
camping area to
the entrance of the
recreation area - there are others. Best suited to campers in roof top tents, or tents beside vehicle. Do not try to access this
camping area with all-wheel-drive vehicles, vehicles with low clearance or vehicles towing trailers, boats or caravans.
Camping permit required.
