Temple
Gorge is located in the
Kennedy Range and can be reached via a 2 km return easy to moderate walk departing from the
Temple Gorge campground.
The rocky track meanders through
the gorge and reaches a
fork underneath the aptly named “Temple”
rock face. The left trail is relatively easy and explores more of
the gorge’s scenery. The right trail requires climbing over boulders and tree limbs and is more difficult, ending at a seasonal
rock pool. The suggested time to allow is 2 hours for the 2 combined tracks, however again depending on fitness, temperature and how often you stop the time can be more than halved.
