A dry creek running into a broad clay pan just south of the Emu-
Maralinga Road. The site was named by those working on the
Maralinga and Emu atomic projects in the 1950-60's. The first European visitor to the area was Len Beadell while surveying much of the area for the proposed atomic bomb projects. The erosion has exposed the rich geological history of the area. It is an extremely fragile ecosystem and is deep within
Maralinga-Tjarutja lands. Permission is required to visit this and other sites within MT lands.
